The Edelet’s 1st Picture!

As all of you know Ann and Shane are expecting around the 16th of June.  She’s half way already…Time sure does go fast.  They’re going to be great parents!  Auntie Jennie and Uncle Jakob are also quite excited.  On Jan. 18th, they got their first ultrasound. To see the Edelet go to http://www.thatedeguy.com/archives/2006/01/edelet-gets-an-ultrasound  Jake thinks it looks like a spaceship, but at least we know it’s not a potato anymore!  I think it already has it’s Dad’s nose!  They are not finding out the sex, but most people think it’s a girl.  I will keep you all informed on the progress of the Edelet.

Fell Off The Blogging Wagon!

As you can see I haven’t blogged in quite a while.  Maybe it’s because I have such a boring life!  This weekend me and the old man are going back home to The Cities.  I’m very excited as I will finally be able to have the ladies down there try on the choices of dresses I have thus far.  I think I know which it will be, but you never know what could happen!  Also, Jake and I finally get to take our engagement pictures.  My friend Kristine did an awesome job with Amy and Ben’s, so she’s going to take ours for us as well.  Way excited!  Work is…well, it’s work.  I landed in the top 10 for my division again this month, so that will be a little extra money for the wedding fund.  Every little bit helps!  Other then that, not a whole lot is new.  Oh, it is our anniversary today so we went out to dinner which was very nice.  We don’t do that often anymore, so it was a nice treat and nice to have some us time out of the house.  I’m so lucky to be marrying Jake! ;)   Hope all is well and I will try to get a little better with this blogging thing again then some boys, won’t mention names, can get off me about it!

My Poor Baby!

If any of you know me well enough you know I have a baby…It’s a red neon!  And I love it very much.  And I now have the Buick, which was very hard for me to let go of my baby.  But, Jake is taking care of the neon now, as his car is out of commission.  Well, he is not taking care of my baby very well…He is in big trouble!  Today at lunch we had a knock on the door and it was our maintence guy.  Asking Jake if he would like to turn off his lights on his car, so his battery wouldn’t die.  MY POOR BABY!  And mind you, this is not the first time this has occured.  A few months ago this happened TWICE in one day and the battery did die on him at work.  So, I just thought I would let you all know to keep the neon in your thoughts and give Jake friendly reminders to turn off the lights on my baby!  And it is not ’cause the neon misses me, as Jake keeps using as an excuse, claiming it is turning the lights on by itself…BAD JAKE!

Girly Wedding Weekend Results…

So, the results are in…We got some things actually done this weekend and had a wonderful time hangin’ with the ladies.  Saturday we did go look at dresses and the 2 we got down to are from Davids.  THe links for them are: http://davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_detail.jsp?stid=1575&prodgroup=110 and http://davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_detail.jsp?stid=1552&prodgroup=110  Let me know of your opinions and any advise on these dresses.  Also, I got to go and “play” in my dress.  I love it still!  And I bought my headpiece.  I would explain it more, but there is always a sneaky fiance who could come upon such things as that! ;) But I can tell you it is so perfect for the dress!  YAYAYAYA!  And how do you all feel about veils?  I’m starting to think that I really don’t want one.  Just an extra expense and I’m pondering throwing out that idea.  We also played around with centerpiece ideas and Jess almost made us to take her to the ER as she broke some glass over her arm, but some how she didn’t get any sort of injury.  Still unsure with that whole centerpiece thing, but able to look around some more and try different things.  The Bridal Fair was good, but we didn’t win the $15,000…Like I thought that was going to happen!  The best thing we took from that was invitation ideas.  Check out valleyprintingfargo.com  They have some cool seal and send deals that we’re now considering.  Well, I hope all is going well with my blog chums and please remember I AM STILL NOT A GEEK! :)

Jake Does Help With Wedding Plans!

So, when I came home from lunch today Jake came in with a list of songs.  And he said he found this AOL radio thing and they have a special station with wedding songs you can listen to.  So, at work today he listened to that and got some ideas and wrote down which ones he liked and for what type of dance. I’m so impressed with him!  I believe to listen to AOL radio just go to aol.com and click on music and it should lead you there.  I’m listening right now and it’s pretty good and very little interuptions.  And they do have a lot more stations then I’ve seen elsewhere.  Even XM radio stations.  And it’s free…Free is always good!  If any of you have any ideas for songs, give me a heads up.  Brilliant ideas always welcome! :)

I AM NOT A GEEK!

Easy Maggie, Korey, and Jamie!  Yes, I’ve always been a geek, I know this!  Maybe just not this type of geek.  And trust me if you saw Jake’s blog you would know I have no clue what I’m doing and I don’t discuss geek-like issues.  Thus, I’m not a true geek.  But Korey told me a long time ago that once you find that one person that makes you happy, you start to take to their things, become part of them, and want to spend unseen amounts of time with them.  I know, wise words from Korey…Shocking! So, this is one of those things.  And this way it’s a “funner” way to keep in touch.  Trust me thatedeguy.com and olorinpc.com are sure laughin’ this up as well, check out there blogs…Real funny jerk-offs!

Me and Pepsi

Here I sit about to go back to work after lunch and I thought I would write a little bit about Pepsi happenings.  I’m a tel-sell agent there, which means we call for orders, deal with customers needs, and add product.  By adding product we get commission.  This is also based on our QA scores, when they listen to our calls.  I’ve been there since Sept. 15, when Jake got hired at Microsoft.  It’s alright and I’m doing fairly well there.  I just miss face-to-face interaction and I’m not a big fan of Fargo.  Hopefully if some business plans go through, we may be able to move back to Jamestown, which a lot of you don’t know.  Last month I was 2nd highest in my divison and made $100.07 in commission, at a QA score of 103%. So that was good news and we’re planning on ALWAYS using any of that for wedding funds.  And as of this month so far, I’m in the top 5, at 104.77% with $25 made. Not shabby!  product_place.jpg

Bridal Fair

This weekend Ann and Jess (2 bridesmaids) are coming to Fargo for a wedding fair.  It’s on Sunday at the Civic Center and it’s supposed to be the best one around these parts and the biggest.  Jake and I went to a different one last year and weren’t that impressed, but people keep saying this one will be better.  I hope so!  And we could win a $15,000 wedding!  That would be awesome, especially right now!  Also, Saturday we’re going to go and look at some bridesmaid dresses.  I’m excited to do that and get some more ideas and hopefully narrow it down some. These are the links to my 2 favorites thus far.
